Being honest, we don't use LFS internally, so dogfooding doesn't really work in this area. If you don't like something or you have an idea how we can improve LFS support in Fork, please feel free to contact me directly.

File -> Accounts -> + -> GitLab should solve the problem. Otherwise, contact me using the feedback button on the toolbar (or by email) and I'll be able help you.

Press the first button on the toolbar (or use Cmd+P). You can open Repository Manager by opening new tab (Cmd+T).

Hi. In Fork you can expand/collapse nodes in the graph. Collapsing all (i.e. --first-parent) and then expanding particular merge commits is also possible.

Fork can show the width guideline in the description field if you enable 'monospace font' in preferences. The width is configurable.

Enable 'monospace font in commit description' in Fork preferences and set the guideline for the description width. You can wrap the commit message using the context menu option in the description field.

Hi! I develop Fork with my wife. We don't have manager, marketing team, designers, etc. We also don't have meetings which makes us more efficient :). So, we don't need too much money to survive. Answering your question, yes,

Yes, you can lock and unlock LFS files using file context menu. There's also the ability to see the list of locked files (and force-unlock one, if needed).

Hi. Dan from Fork is here. I guess there's some mistake. I answer a lot of user questions daily and this is the first time I hear about such a feedback. I would really appreciate if you could send me any details (by email or using the

I didn't use anything fancy. Cocoa + Dmg for Mac and WPF + Squirrel for Windows.

Hi. There are two options: 1. Hold `alt` key when press the commit button, 2. Enable 'Automatically push on commits' in Fork preferences.

Fork is native on both platforms so it will be tricky to implement and maintain a Linux version.

I call it beta because I keep adding new features every release. Fork might become paid but not in the near future.

I've been working on Fork in my spare time. It would be great if it become something bigger one day. I don't have any particular plans though.

There's side-by-side diff (it appears on spacebar press). You can also use external diff tools. Update: both features are available in Mac version and will appear on Windows platform soon.

Fork developer here. Could you share what features you miss so I could implement them? You can use the feedback button on the toolbar in Fork or contact me directly by email: support at git-fork.com.

This is amazing! Is there a way to navigate the collections by folders on disk, not by artist/album/genre? I keep my music nicely sorted on disk and I really got used to it.

I just want to thank Bob for the amazing "Game Programming Patterns" book. I can't recommend it highly enough. And since I'm also interested in compilers, I will buy "Crafting Interpreters” without a hesitation.

I'm planning to keep the main version free. However, having a premium version with some extra features is also possible.

I also miss side-by-side diff and hope to implement it when I finish high priority features.

I use the magnifying glass icon for the "Open quickly" window. It's supposed to be something like Spotlight search in OS X ( https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/vopjz0e9tp1k1ul/2016-08-... ).

When you use a git GUI some console actions can be made easier: - I can stage/unstage/reset my changes line-by-line - I can observe the whole repository structure as it was at the moment of commit - Gui client automatically keeps
