Putting cloudflare etc in front of webflow breaks how webflow does their lets encrypt renewal (they use HTTP, not DNS), so after ~90 days the site goes offline unless you allow un-encrypted origin connections.

The "publish to your own server" is a cruel joke. Anything remotely dynamic, even things like CMS pages that can be generated at build time, don't work. To be fair, webflow itself is a joke.

Teams is already chaotic for development. The documentation mixes between multiple deprecated versions already. This is just going to add to the chaos. It feels like there is no-one at Microsoft responsible for "Teams" as a produc

I'm going to try and keep this as dispassionate as possible. I did a project with a UK gambling company. I have tried to do everything in my power to expunge it from my work history as well as, more importantly, my moral history. If yo

Hameroff is one of those common pseudo-psy frauds. Dawkins hit the nail on the head when he said consciousness is hard to grasp and understand so everytime something in science comes along that is also hard to grasp, people latch on to it a

We’re current users of workos, for both the SSO and directory sync (which I love) features, but unfortunately the pricing means we have to charge our customers more for it. SSO+DS exceeds the cost of our base plan leading us to having to lo

This reflects my own changes. Me at 25 and me at 35 are completely different when it comes to code. I'd rather finish early, spend time with family, and come back tomorrow with a better solution than keep on hammering away on an overni

We found the "lots of small inserts" issue, and fixed it by just using the Buffered table engine[0]. Can create it as a replica of the destination table, and it stores inserts in memory until they cross a threshold and are written

When the first grunt plugin came out that could auto-generate a sprite map, that was love. Had been using images with the hover version offset out of view to avoid flicker on load for many years before.

My favourite response, if only for it's brevity, is now on a long-lost repo. The owner replying to a particularly snarky requester: "If I was working for a big org like you, then I couldn't tell you to go f*k yourself. But I

My dad frequents a very niche forum. A couple thousand users, many posts made daily, I'd guess a 80/20 split between long-timers/newcomers asking a question about that niche. Biggest reason they seem to be struggling? The per

The OP looks to be using sha2 for password hashing at a cursory glance at the PHP so I’d say highly likely. I suppose everything, AI or novice, is just a matter of degree of wrongness.
