Thank you for sharing this. I always felt that Leinin is too much. I'm not a clojure dev in my day to day so setting things right on it was cucumbersome (especially with cljs).

I really doubt that. I always had problem with godeps at the point that I hate it. Right now for example I have a giant repo with tons of dependencies and: godep: unable to detect version control system for code.google.com/ path

This is the problem with most of the Go community: Blind. There are plenty of tools that works quite well: bundler, cargo (even with some young rough edges) and at some degrees npm. So there are tools and better ways to do it. It is just th

Because when you deal with complex code react make it easier to read and as said in the talk more confident when making changes. On a large codebase we all know that you have to be a good JS dev to keep it well organized well readable etc.
