It’s a “choice,” but the extremely strong default is a sedentary lifestyle. Many people have to actively fight that default to overcome it, day in and day out, and it’s hard.

The Cold War-era guidance I’ve seen online said that the main threat is aggregate fallout in the first few days, and that it doesn’t take all that much mass and distance to attenuate the radiation. So if you are in a basement surrounded by

Honestly that seemed really high to me. I went to my first funeral at 41. I did go to a couple of viewings/wakes before that. I’m not religious, and I guess I just don’t know enough people who would invite me to a funeral.

I don't have any concrete examples. But I will say that I have literally never used !g with Kagi or felt any inclination to. I agree about prior engines. I tried DDG for a short period but it felt like junk, and same for Bing. With Bin

Have you tried Kagi? I’ve set all my devices to use it, and I’m at the point where I get annoyed when something goes to Google by mistake and I see crappy results. Kagi just gives much better results.

It sounds like you are basing this on a single decision by a single judge facing a pretty unique situation. Delaware still has the most certainty, by far. You are much better off there the vast majority of the time. Delaware has a court (th

Agreed. It could be some mix too (e.g. heavy LLM “assistance”). It’s sad that these days everything is suspect.

I've seen this too, in the northeast US. I didn't go to our family doctor of 10+ years for 18 months during COVID-19. When I called for a new appointment, they said I had was no longer a patient and had to wait at least 90 days fo

It's already there. I've been trying, and failing, to convince my wife that we don't need a $7,000 "real" diamond for a ring she wants, and that a <$1000 lab-created diamond is better. Not only is it cheaper, but

Completely agreed. Beyond that , the cost of adding a headphone jack is not the price of the physical component. It’s the fact that it forces the phone to be bulkier in one dimension or another. There is less space for other components.
