I agree with your blind hatred of Oracle. But you have to admit, this is pretty epic inter-company trolling, and what Oracle says in its post is basically right.

Yeah. I don't understand why no one on the Windows side can fully catch up to Apple laptop hardware.

Personally I think those hardware limitations are pretty silly. IMO an OLED screen is irrelevant unless you are gaming or something, and touchscreens on laptops are of pretty limited utility. And an internal LTE model would be an expensive

Yeah, this whole thing reads to me like a bug in nginx. There is no obvious reason users would need that functionality.

No, I have 144hz and 60 hz monitors side by side at home, and 120/60 hz side by side at work. I can certainly tell the difference. It doesn’t bother me much, although it’s enough that I have held off on the recent Apple display mostly

Not sure there is a way out through admissions policies alone. Those with more resources are always going to be better able to game the metrics. It seems like the way to solve it is at the societal level, by policies that favor those with f

I really don't get the Teams hate. Or lure organization uses Teams every day to great effect. None of its competitors have apps worth equivalent functionality at a similar price point. It absolutely has bugs and issues, but what it doe

I agree The Incredibles is peak Pixar, but Inside Out was very good too (which only shows that it’s a slow decline).

Yes but we know it was one or the other, and I think we need to follow both paths regardless. We are unlikely to ever know definitively which one it was. And all of the effort debating lab leak or not just distracts time and attention from

I would say that I don’t think it matters whether it was a lab leak or not, COVID shows that we shouldn’t be doing this kind of research either way.
