Picked up a handful of old 10g mellanox cards and just direct connected my computers since even the used 10g switches are still expensive... i can reach double my 1g ethernet speeds but not near the 10g max. I'm thinking the pciv1 slot

Hasnt the privacy issue been helped by using temporary ipv6 addresses? This is why my Windows machines have 3 v6 address with only one being permanent and the other 2 being called temporary? The temporary address did change after a restart.
