   It seems to be in very poor conduct for an employer to discuss, by name, the performance of an employee. In the U.S. the employee would likely have grounds for a lawsuit. Regardless of location, this does come down to a he-said, she-said

   For web applications, I loved what I could do with Java EE and GWT.

   Did you go back to the same field and responsibilities? I'm taking almost 2.5 years off but I don't really think I'll suffer a set-back.
