What a bizarre comment. Do you really think Japanese people and anime fans find heavily-roboticized voices peasant to listen to for long periods of time?

I agree entirely here. Projects like this miss the point. Don't bother with being what will be an always imperfect macOS clone; just bother with making a good, usable system, adopting things from macOS which are good (universal menu ba

Microsoft sold ARM-powered versions of the Surface for a while (not sure if it was ARM64 at that point) and releases a version of Windows which runs on the Pi, so it's something they've showed interest in for a while. I'm gue

A while back I hammered out an idea I call KyuWeb, which specifies a document-based web using existing standards like HTTP and reinvents as few wheels as possible. I haven't had time/skill to hammer out a complete client implement

I don't understand what you're saying. Are you saying that we shouldn't consider people as individuals when reading their CV because that's when unconscious bias may lead to their rejection? If the latter is true, then s

I notice that you only use the word “group” above and not “people” or some older word acknowledging that that’s what these groups are made of. Why judge people by the groups that were born into when we could be judging them as individuals i

Just the normal Podcasts app on iOS. It was good and then they broke it and it sucked but they've made it usable again… though the UI is still a confusing mess. I don't think anyone who develops that app at Apple is dogfooding it,
