What makes you think that? Is Musk going to be CEO himself? I would expect him to very hands-on early on. Unless someone really talented wants to step in… but who wants to be CEO under Musk? At this point it would be a puppet role.

Amazon has been slowly trending down over the last 10 years for me (but in many ways also improving). Amazon used to be a shop I trusted, products arrived in good condition, and their customer service was pleasant to deal with. Now it’s ful

I’ll be honest, I didn’t read the article but I learned a lot from video games and by extend the internet when I was a kid. It thought me that if you work on something, you will get better at it, and you will be rewarded. This is not the ca

Idk its a very short video and doesn’t show any part of how to work is. Isn’t a bit like tacking a selfie. You take 10, pick the one that looks best, and you only take them when you are standing in the Grand Canyon.

I disagree. Growth is an attitude. I worked at startups and at mature companies. In a growth company you usually do not have to justify work in term of profitability but in terms of growth. Then when the company is sufficiently large differ

I am not saying Facebook should stop growing. It should just not keep dumping money in these unproven projects, and they should get some people on board to fix their cost structure. Apple and Microsoft are much more mature companies than Fa

Is there a design yet for a power system that can run on fully on renewables in realistic conditions? I looked into this in 2017 and at the time there was no realistic design, they all relied on Gas powered plants to provide on demand produ

Could you elaborate why you chose Nim over other languages? The advantages need to be pretty strong when picking a niche language like this I would assume? Curious what the thought process was like.

Care to explain why? I get that there are some horrible Java projects and libraries that have really ballooned in complexity over the years but I still see Java itself as one of the better languages. Especially for corporate work.

I suspect it is too expensive to build closed offices for everyone. But what I don’t understand is why there are (almost) never a mix. A large open office room for normal work but also have a good portion of offices available for deep work

I will be honest, even if I would inherit a fortune 2x as large I would still not be able to achieve what that guy has done. Impressive regardless of any inherited ‘privilege’. Sure he is a little weird but who isn’t.
