An account created for the sole purpose of criticizing Snowden/Greenwald/company accuses others of being a controlled pawn. Rich.

Probably more like they killed Skype on linux: Keep it on 'life support', much like "sloth" in Se7en .

In my experience, there are frequent linux-specific bugs. If linux support isn't something that is valued by the developers, then it may linger for a while but it will eventually rot away. https://bugs.mojang.com/brows

Unless you've got something newer to suggest otherwise, that's how HN operates. "Downvotes aren't for disagreeing" is an absurd redditism (everyone knows that they are, since upvotes are for agreeing) .

In all of my years on this planet, I have never seen religion benefit a corpse. The living may find comfort in it, but the dead are indifferent.

Seriously. The most you can do is "Get inside one of the many groups that happens to be operating under the name "Anonymous" at that time" .

Unless they drive the thing across the frozen Arctic Ocean, then there is an ocean between Afghanistan and San Diego for them to drop it into. I'm all for removing them from Afghanistan; I just don't want them brought back into

This wasn't the only Soviet weapon in space. The space station Salyut 3 had an 23mm autocannon strapped to it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salyut_3#On-board_gun

I find that the combination of distance updates and street name cover most of those cases, though there are indeed edge-cases where it doesn't work great.

Definitely an interesting idea. I wonder if haptic feedback for GPS navigation could somehow be integrated into cars. The steering wheel might work.. except people are often pretty bad at keeping both hands on the wheel. Maybe in the sea

The GuileEmacs project never really getting off the ground with much momentum is probably the only reason I still use Vim. ELisp just kills any motivation I have to 'make emacs my own'.
