As a developer I have vowed to never develop anything for Apple nor buy any of the products. I know my mutiny is like a drop in the ocean for a trillion dollar company but I strongly agree with GNU stance that Apple's Operating System

What scares me most is what happens when this happens to you and you can't get to the HN front-page? Will you get the same resolution from Stripe/Google/Apple/Aws if it didn't? Making the front-page is often random

My biggest problem with using a VPN is the overtly hostile treatment by Google and Cloudflare. Everytime I try to browse with a VPN (currently using Windscribe) I just see those nasty captchas everywhere. Google won't even let me do a

I think one trick to get around this is by delegating and if possible automating the parts you don't like. Unfortunately its much easier said than done because it takes meticulous planning and long time to set it up. But it can be don

One thing I've never understood about Netflix is why it autocompletes movie names that it doesn't have in its library. It's like such a bummer when its shows the exact movie name and then unrelated results.

Such interesting food for thought. You are deceiving people for your own gains but then you're not breaking any rules (i guess since i don't know much about runescape), and it would really matter if it was an NPC who did that to t

We've been pretty happy with Vue 2.6 and haven't had the motivation to take the leap. I did try it and even though it's advertised as somewhat backward compatible it did break lots of things, which was totally expected and it

There is probably no good reason to use such CDNs nowadays: 1) The biggest benefit of using cdn was that scripts stylesheets were often loaded from cache. This is no longer the case anymore. 2) It's adding an unnecessary vulnerability
