Don't know how it's in your area but i would recommend a gym. I had a surprising amount of pleasant conversations between and during sets. Stuff from casual conversations to philosophical debates.

This seems reasonable. How often do you change you passwords? Feels like it would get extremely tedious if you have more then a few accounts though, no?
3.
by Cr0s 5y ago
Yes, this basically. Sure if you have to change your password you will, but if there is nothing compelling you to do so why do it? And if yes, why.

Do people even actually change their passwords when there is no need to do so, just because the password is old?

Yeah, reddit can be a good source of info, but after a certain size it tends to turn into an echo chamber of whatever the loudest opinion is.

My keyboard and mouse are actually pretty far apart from each other so for me a dedicated keypad on the left wouldn't really work, especially since when i use it i do so mostly with my right hand. Interesting suggestion though, it hadn

I cannot remember of the top of my head what the size was, but the problem was that it was around an arms length away from me and I had to move my head/eyes too much when using it. After that, checking how much space i have for my desk

Damn, I completely forgot about those. Any recommendations?

This is actually genius. How often do you use it?

A water bottle of the right size I found is much more important than it seems. I had pretty much the same experience that you mentioned: too big and I don't use it, too small and I can't be bothered to refill everytime.

Just opened my drawer to check on my flashlights after reading this. 3 out of 4 appear to be dead.

Any specific ebook readers you would recommend? I have been thinking about getting one recently.

I see a lot of people praising tenkeyless but I use the numeric keypad so often I can't bring myself to buy one, even if my current keyboard uses more space.

The MX Master is a surprisingly good mouse, specifically the side buttons which I honestly did not think I would use at the start. Only problem is the thumb button which dies every now and then, but it's fixable usually within 10 min.

Yeah, home workout equipment can be surprisingly cheap but useful, especially if you can't or won't go to the gym. Problem is that I tend to just stop using my pullup bar, exercise mat etc. sometimes. I don't even realize it&

The claw is such a simple but effective technique that I am sometimes surprised it's not more widespread. I can't remember the amount of times I saw people using knives looking like they are about to cut themselves with the next m

The bothering other people bit is what i feel is mostly stopping me from using anything but a headset. I do have experience with subwoofers and there is a certain joy when they hit you, but the thought of the whole neighbourhood hearing my

To comment on the monitor and speaker stands, even just a bit more desk space can be surprisingly useful once you have 15+ things on your desk. Feels like one of those things you don't learn to appreciate until you need them.

I read your monitor selection guide and one thing that stood out to me was the distance you need to have from you monitor. Completely overlooked that one when I made my first upgrade to a larger monitor and it definitely lowered my use of t

Like a another comment suggested, I would recommend using an adblocker. It might not be the answer you are looking for, but it seems like the fastest, most immediate solution.

Well, my favorite pancake place got shutdown so there's that. Like another comment said, the pandemic is making it slightly harder to socialize.

I suppose I'm happy for those who wanted this, but I am sort of done with mobile gaming. I'm not even mad about it anymore. Personally I can no longer imagine a situation where I would play games on my phone.

I unfortunately had a similar experience recently and a good answer I find is spending time with them or just being nearby. Even if it's just being online on discord and being up for a game while talking about random stuff, the presenc

I suppose it would be wise to find out what your local laws say. Whether not doing any of this right at the start could get you in trouble.

It takes two is an amazing co-op game. I believe it won game of the year 2021? Also you can play with a friend even if they dont own the game from what i understand.

If you just want more diversity, reading a book seems like an easy option. Otherwise like some comments mentioned, bodyweight exercises are good. 1-2 hours of those a day should be fine if you are doing them seriously. Look up on youtube if

When my mind starts craving stimulation to a level it becomes disruptive I find reading a book helps quite a lot. Not a textbook, just a normal story that i read without having to think much. Feels like it grounds my mind so to speak.
