I imagine 99% of keyloggers are the 'put this on as many machines as possible and look for worthwhile logins' type, which are well-thwarted by this approach. Anything more bespoke than that is probably much rarer.

LastPass did this wrong, they had a bug in their url parser that let you trick it into selecting the wrong site data to form-fill with. With the c+p workflow, you can completely cut out any attack vectors (because the website doesn't i

I think it depends on how you learned to play. Personal anecdote: I learned the game from another casual player, and played a few hundred hours without learning any openings (but developing my own crude ones) or even knowing 'en passan

Indeed, it's pretty common to 'proxy' more expensive cards when playing casually. Of course, if you want to play in a sanctioned tournament, you need to pony up.

Being tongue-in-cheek, self-aware, and even being a deliberate parody don't preclude a work from being an exemplar of the genre it's parodying.

But if you want to go that far, it's entirely possible with Javascript disabled. Not every browser bug is a JS engine bug. Your best bet (not guaranteed) is reading the html as plain text, not rendering any images, etc.
