This doesn't ring true to me. Reddit has clearly demonstrated a desire/mandate to monetize, even at the expense of its users. If they thought they had a viable Google competitor they wouldn't look that gift horse in the mouth

Terasic still sells them. The price is much worse than when MiSTer was taking off, but my gut feeling is the project's picked up enough inertia that it doesn't matter. See: https://www.terasic.com.tw/cgi-bin/p

Mostly startups use GSuite, big traditional companies and banks still run their own. But that wasn't really my point. My point is that there are a lot of bots looking for low-hanging fruit.

I have no evidence for this, but my feeling was always that the highest-volume exploits were just having a bot run yesterday's Day-0 on every IP listening on a port. You can't get that kind of volume by calling people and asking f

The price at which the stock was purchased shouldn't really affect decisions about the portfolio, should it? As I understand it, from the perspective of a rational investor, inheriting a stock and not selling it is the same as inheriti

I looked up why Costco has that policy, and their stated reason is to be a second factor checking that the cashier correctly counted all items. They say they don't want to overcharge customers, but it probably goes both ways. It'd
