This sounds like good progress for getting Rust into more places. I had no idea that this type of thing was not supported in Rust-GCC. BTW: Here's a good reference to the differences between "if" and "if let" - ht

This policy sounds like a great thing all around. It reduces traffic, noise, and pollution in the city and increases MTA funding. Win-Win! My only question is why does the federal government (ie. Trump) want to halt it? Why do they care

You know, the YouTube app on my Amazon FireCube recently started prompting me to log in every time I open it. I don't have to authenticate or anything but I do have to choose a profile. This started a couple of months ago and I didn&#

Does that work with DoH (DNS over HTTP)? It's my understanding that using systems like AdGuard or NextDNS or even PiHole fail to handle DoH requests. In that case the only solution is something like uBlock Origin.

Yes, it's been my experience that there is a huge gulf between the "Premium" AWS support plans (Enterprise) and all the others. The Enterprise plan is extremely pricey but you get very good support. I've tried debuggin

I tried playing Deadlock for a bit but it seems too much like an Overwatch clone. I like TF2 for it's simplicity and visual ease. Some of the current FPS games just clutter up the screen with soooo much stuff ... it's hard to se

I wonder how this will affect the MegaCheatersDB ( https://mcdb.neocities.org/ ) and the MegaAntiCheat system ( https://github.com/oenu/MegaAntiCheat ). Those projects are doing what they can to track dow

I know you’re being facetious, but there was a time that I did toggle a boot loader in with switches on the front of a mini computer. Now I feel super old.

I agree that the UX of Mastodon was not the best. I tried several times to use it and it just never "clicked". Bluesky just worked for me, almost without trying. Maybe my problem with Mastodon was choosing the server to join. M

I think Steven Colbert hosted a show using himself as the host. I’m not sure about the tax implications though.

If you haven't checked out the "AWS SSO Containers" extension they you are missing out! I recently found this beauty and it's literally changed the way I work. I couldn't be happier. [0] https://addons.

I live in the AWS console for work and am constantly switching between accounts. The "AWS SSO Containers" extension has been a godsend for me. I used to use Chrome profiles for this but it was very clunky and only allowed access

In my quest to move away from Chrome I tried to daily drive Safari on my new work supplied M4 MBP. I really tried, but it was just too slow in daily use. At first I thought something was wrong with my networking or Internet connection, or

Thank you. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills because I (mostly) hate autocomplete; it mostly just gets in my way. I do almost everything in Sublime Text with very few plug-ins. At the same time everyone around me is using the latest VS
