That's actually pretty interesting to me. I specifically remember seeing those multiple iPhones in the demo and wondering what they were for. Jobs kept putting one down and picking up another one to do a different part of the demo.

I think the problem that most people have with Apple quality control is that the company has quite a lot of surplus cash and they don't appear to be using it to make their products better. If we could see that Apple recognized that a

You might want to give cfn-builder[0] a try. I'm biased because I wrote it but I find that it's a good way to write and maintain my CFN templates. Also it's written in simple Nodejs and is easy to expand for your own needs. [

I'm working on a simple GUI for AWS's KMS[0]. KMS is great but it's very confusing for new people and it's not easy to organize the keys (and other information) that you want to store. My thought is that a simple Elect

Several years ago, in my mid 40's, I was on the job hunt. I interviewed at several companies that seemed to love me and even flew me to the HQ for an interview (D.C., Utah, etc.) Most of the companies were the same; lots of young peo

I'm running OPNSense for a small private school and it seems to be working fine. I looked at pfSense but between the licensing changes, petty infighting, and "not so pretty" GUI I chose not to use it. One of the things that

I don't think that the argument that they don't use the product helps the case that Microsoft cares about Linux. If they want to be successful in the Linux world they are absolutely going to have to start using it. Every. Single.

You know, I completely forgot about GitHub owning Electron. And I'm sure there are other GitHub projects that I've overlooked. Maybe MS didn't purchase GitHub for the repositories but for the support programs. Hmmm...

I think RCS is a great idea and Google should be pushing it. In fact, I would argue that few other companies could make it happen in a way that Google can. RCS opens up a much larger world than a simple "chat" client does.
