It may sound crazy but I’ve seen something similar happen at a startup I used to work at. The founders (Muslim) very clearly preferred to hire people of similar backgrounds. All their recruiting efforts were focused on Muslims and they went

I'm with you. I may be an introvert but I'm actually quite social. The key for me is that I'm social on my own terms. Mandatory fun events and forced team bonding do nothing but alienate me from everyone else. The harder

I got suckered by this once and only once. What seemed to be a great environment and culture on the surface, with lots of good perks, ended up being the most toxic and dysfunctional workplace I've ever been at. I was completely miser

It’s actually a lot worse than that. For properties over $1 million CAD, you are required to put down a 20% deposit. I came across an article not long ago that it would take the average household 30+ years to save the necessary down payment

> Have we lost sight of personal responsibility? How naive are people? How can you blame this on personal responsibility when you need a law degree to understand the terms and conditions? Like many here I am intelligent and educated and

You're right that streaming services have made things easier and more trustworthy. Some people are just cheap and don't want to pay when someone else can pay. I just tell him that he shouldn't pirate things because he doesn

I've never understood why people insist on writing articles detailing, "Why I'm switching away from X." If you don't like it then don't use it. There's no need to make a big deal out of it.

I use the Temporary Containers extension and it does much of what you're looking for. I have it set up so every tab is opened in a new container and the container gets deleted when the tab closes. So everything is kept separate from
