Is it because the supply of gold is, in theory, somewhat stable?

I've been switching my domains to namecheap, but this is for personal stuff, not business.

I've been asked it maybe half of my interviews. If you're going for an interview, be ready for this one. I've had at least one interviewer be very persistent about it. There should be an equivalent question for interviewees to ask - how abo

Also: I recall reading another book where the author wrote that he offered to work for free, and was turned down. And it was a huge blow to his ego. Not every company wants to deal with unpaid interns.

Isn't it possible that the trauma of living through war actually lowers your IQ a bit? It's not a huge difference here, a few IQ points.

I'm still not sure how that's such a ginormous amount of money.

Yeah. Actually, a better analogy would be alcohol use, since drug use is illegal (and WoW playing isn't). What if a company had a bad experience with an alcoholic employee, so they refused to hire anyone who drinks at all?

I always ask "if I started this position today, what tasks would you assign me?" It's a really informative question.

Subversion, in my experience, is worth the effort of switching from cvs. It's a breeze to set up, and it's a lot cleaner than cvs.

I think people who never drink, may tend to do so for religious reasons. If someone has never had a drink, they could have a tendency for alcoholism that never has a chance to manifest itself. So maybe that justifies excluding teetotalers f

I'm not a Java programmer, at least at the moment. But if what the author writes is accurate about Java keeping all sorts of cruft because Sun doesn't want to break backwards compatibility, then it's interesting to note that one of Java's a

It's such an apples-vs-oranges comparison, and it's also largely a personal choice. I do play the card game over the online game, though, regularly. People who've played lots of Magic say that the WoW card game is a better game than Magic,

It sounds like the problem isn't "getting enough traffic", it's getting people to stay, or to come back. Are you focusing on that?

I haven't tried Spoils. It's the World of Warcraft TCG. Very fun. EDIT: It's been out a couple years now, and is going pretty strong. Check it out if you get a chance.

On a good Friday night, I go to the local comic shop and play a collectible card game. (One that's sort of like Magic: the Gathering, but different.) I know, I know. Wild times, right? I enjoy it a lot, though. You get to use your brain, it

I can't imagine things would be so bad that companies would be eager to layoff interns. You'd have to layoff like 10 interns to equal one reasonably experienced employee.

I don't want to get political here, but I would think Joe would want to get a license to be a plumber, or have his own business, or the means to buy one, before he started advertising. Joe's a crummy example, in other words.
