Yikes. I occasionally forget bags, and appreciate that we can get paper bags here for 20-25 cents. I also reuse those paper bags once or twice, and then use them for collecting compost on my countertop, and then throw the whole bag in the b

I live in CA where we have a ban on single-use plastic bags. We still have single-use paper bags. So your footprint would be the same here, not higher.

I also use a moka only when camping (French press and espresso machine at home). Why it’s great for camping: 1. Indestructible 2. Cheaply found at a garage sale (no worries if it gets lost in a pile of camping gear) 3. Takes up less volume

For what it’s worth, I lived 50 yards from an at-grade freight track in the city, where from 10pm-7am the trains did not blow their horns, relying on the crossing protective lights and gates only, and that worked for me. Charming train horn

Yes, let’s free the incarcerated, absolutely! In my opinion, drug testing should only required for certain roles (like driving or operating machinery). And it should only look for active intoxication.

Exactly! It’s the same distraction as the noise about Hunter’s substance use. I do not care about either.

I would look at the behaviors and decisions made by the CEOs of Boeing and Raytheon. If they meet my expectations I would excuse the substance use. If it’s a problem, it’s a minor problem, not justifying the attention. Elon has a lot of maj

Yea, I’m a downright Elon-hater. I could not care less if business leaders use drugs responsibly. This is the wrong tree to bark up, an utter distraction when Elon’s actual meaningful behaviors and decisions are so objectionable.

Would you share a reply that is more helpful than this “technically correct” reply? IE what is this “database” useful for? Why is it noteworthy? I’m genuinely curious.

This, uh, isn’t a database? I clicked through to the GitHub and see only a hard coded html file with the small handful of Tesco comparisons, and a single screenshot. Where is the database? What am I missing? Why is this interesting?
