Thanks! Positive support with no expectation that I listen to a miracle cure or something is one of those things that really helps on rough days!

Part of the reason they are transferring me is so they have the freedom to try some of the immune suppressing drugs. Being deployed overseas means they can't. I'm terrified, but hoping something will help.

Just want to voice my support. I deal with that too, and it’s almost as tiring as the pain some days.

I’m dealing with chronic pain that’s bringing my current career to its end. I’m still unsure how active I’ll be able to be in the future due to it. In my case it’s autoimmune; my body has decided it’s going to destroy itself from the inside

Outstanding efforts! Thanks for the work and the follow-up. Once I have a little time I may give the later AMD GPU a try, unless someone else figures it out first.

Everyone in this thread is talking about how this is just a user space on Linux without RTFA. It uses the FreeRTOS kernel, which isn’t Linux last time I checked. Also, it specifies LTE in the specs. I think the GSM tethering is a mistype or

Well that sucks. I suppose it makes sense that you might run into an issue like that on an embedded board, but I had hoped it would be simpler. This means that you may have issues with some of the higher end HBA's, etc. as well. I'

The takeaway from all the math (quote from W. Allen Wallis): "The military was inclined to provide protection for those parts that on returning planes showed the most hits. Wald assumed, on good evidence, that hits in combat were unifo

This is an extremely convoluted example, in an article that's not clearly written. The example I've seen most often is how Abraham Wald contributed to WW2 combat aircraft survival. [0] [0] http://www.ams.org/publico

Given the simplicity of the RPi system, it's quite possible that the PCIe bus is clocked from the same source that you are raising the frequency of to overclock the CPU. Since we saw a ~15% increase in NVME performance with a ~33% incr

I wanted to correct myself; with 500MBps bidirectional, that single PCIe lane could run a 5GbE at full saturation, or a 10GbE at a pretty solid fraction. That changes the use case a bit; the Aquantia multi-gig cards have drivers for ESXi. Y

Any possibility of you checking to see if ESXi will load off of the eMMC those have? I know some eMMC has issues (i.e. LattePanda); it would be good to know if this is one of those cases.

Thanks for the info! Looks like a really awesome little board that's going to allow all KINDS of interesting use cases. I really hope to see a new TuringPi cluster; doubly so with ESXi now being available! One note about your article:

For Contrast Detection autofocus (CDAF), this is dynamically solved. This requires sampling at various focusing points, and mathematically guessing where to try to get a sharper image; it's why cameras that use it hunt. Panasonic is do
