I took mine at age of 19, been 13 years now and so far fine. I feel like eyesight during dark is worse than it was during younger age, but during day sight's still good as ever. Operation itself was pretty scary. Before LASIK i was wea

Article citing valorant as doing anti-cheat the best way is really baffling. Their anti-cheat practices are so invasive they might as well require you to play on a PC they own completely. They simply won't let you play if you have soft

Server side ui toolkit doesnt make much sense to me. Better idea is to target some multimedia layer like web browser, electron, etc ... Or just hope someone someday comes up with UI library that doesnt suck.

Only if you are sure all the code uses the IO instance, if you mean language level sandboxing of untrusted code then no, zig code can always call syscalls directly. But you can compile zig to wasm which will give you capability based securi

I'm not saying not to do that. But it seems sandboxing should be the first thing to think of. Especially in concept of git which allows you to execute all sorts of custom scripts. File name sanitation is not that however, in fact in co

I think better idea is to make git use user namespaces and sandbox itself to the clone directory so it literally cannot write/read outside of it. This prevents path traversal attacks and limits the amount of damage RCE could do. Filena

Multiplayer games without dedicated servers is dead end anyways. I dont need a "anti-cheat" daemon hooking into kernel scanning files and other memory while playing a game. Communities in dedicated servers are much more efficient

The backends do already have some simple optimizations. Of course focus is debug builds and speed, but long term goal is for them to be competitive as well.
