The biggest power drain is still the screen and those haven't really improved that much.

As someone who often checks that sub, all I can say is that there's no decent small phones and it's just people constantly checking whether one has been released yet

The problem with a lot of pi stuff is that a lot of it is just so out of date, especially as the community just didn't fully transition to the RPI5 So for running things on an N100 it works in the same way as any other PC

> I wouldn’t replace much of that with an Intel NUC style computer Why is that? Because you think the N100 isn't capable enough or for some other reason? Because N100 definitely can outperform a raspberry pi But a pi pico is defini

I don't work in pharma but I work in medical electronics, and sometimes you just have to perform random unrelated testing because the standards say so, even if it technically doesn't apply to your product

Presumably by 3000 you mean 1000 over the ~2000 from your basal rate? 1000kcal per day from walking alone is about 3-4 hours of walking per day depending on weight.

The 35k lines of code is what made me think this was either a joke or the state of vibe coding, but no it turns out they're serious I have entire codebases of embedded software in C without the shortcuts of modern programming languages
