While I was partially playing Devil's Advocate, I'd would definitely agree up to the point where you said JS is simple. I personally think it's awful and we should all collectively feel ashamed that Javascript tends to be th

I'm going to go ahead and assume that most developers don't have access to the millions of dollars in market research, analytics, focus groups, design theory, etc. etc. etc. that Google and Apple do. Why would we abandon an aesthe

Please point me to a place where I can understand how to do Objective C in a "not hard to learn" sort of way. There is way too much going on in XCode that a web developer wouldn't get or understand without having broad stroke

In defense of the design of this project, tall and thin is in. Oregon Speed Limit signs now use a taller and thinner font that is much easier to read at distance. Also the NHL used new fonts to number their jerseys for the Stadium Series

Posting articles about how Go sucks because it lacks generics and operator overloading has become the "I'm going to be different and grow a moustache" of the programming set. Go is a tool in your kit like any other language.

Learning Go and finding a way to integrate the new Polymer initiative from Google into node-webkit to start building Go GUI applications. If Go can get some attention on the frontend, I think it's going to speed up adoption even more.

I thought Fail2Ban hooked directly into iptables? How would you get locked out or overloaded? I don't necessarily think Fail2Ban needed a GUI, but I guess I never thought it was a "bad" thing?
