Just genuine curiosity because I like this site and like how active you are in constructively moderating it: Why not simply ban people who have crossed the line this badly for this long? It certainly doesn't seem heavy handed or unfair

Do you do a bit of research on your purchase before heading into a store? If yes, then that might be a big reason.

My rule of thumb for advice on the Internet is that if it is mostly in the form of statements like "You need to do X, Y and Z" and has very few questions intended to dig deeper into the nuances of the product and business model...

I think you're right in that blaming Microsoft without any evidence is probably a mistake, but I also think "until the official statement, it isn't Microsoft failure" is putting a bit too much faith in corporate PR as a

The answers to all these questions are known and public when I vote. I know who counts them, where the figures are sent and who verifies them.

No they can not. I put my ballot in a locked box filled with other ballots. It's not like I hand my ballot to a person and ask them to please record my vote.

I'm still confused. I am completely free to choose whether or not to do business with them, but I am not allowed to tell them about my choice? Or am I not allowed to speak about it at all, regardless of who listens?
