If they can do this for one highly complex, many moving parts, integrated product.... do it for phones. And standardise recycling while you're at it.

I am inclined to agree with you. Removable batteries for cars has a LOT of bulk and weight to deal with. More a "service interval" like action rather than a daily event. Still handy to have but not nearly so much incentive in the

We all know it is about motivation, money and economies of scale. Motivation - make money for rentiers, otherwise get sued. Economies of scale - many low paid employees means differences in how you treat them can add up to millions. Result

I also disagree with hereditary titles. But in a practical sense, I also don't think the next generation of Bezo's are going to be anything but obscenely wealthy. And the generation after that. And after that. While the hereditary

No I had not! It seems like what I was thinking. Take the same idea and put it into Unreal Engine. Add further OS interactions like files, maybe a floating virtual window for web browsing etc. The UX has to be done very well though otherw

Every now and again I think a "Windowing/Compositing" desktop experience replacement in the form of an Unreal Engine based "game" would be cool. Even supports VR. '80s Cyberpunk matrix here I come! pulls out a

What I don't get is: - The police need social capital. It helps enormously if they can be take at face value for "just doing their job". And this would help in the minor day-to-day interactions that makes up the majority of t

This echoes my concerns about the ephemeral nature of trust. Be as positive as you can about it right now. Assume they don't sell and trade. Assume they don't have data breaches. Assume they don't directly try to use it for e

Yeah, liquid nitrogen is not that expensive despite how exotic it sounds. But it really does need to be handled appropriately. For example, while you can put it in a simple thermos flask you shouldn't be in small enclosed spaces with i
