I love Signal's multi-device and have been using it, but I wish you could have linked phones in addition to linked desktop clients. For example, you cannot have an Android as your primary and link an iPhone. There's no inherent re

Let's say I did a survey of images on the internet, using a crawler to look for and download each image. I make counts of how many of each file format I find, their sizes and color depths, and a hash to count dupes. I don't save o

The article suggests that the blackpower is used to make cartridge primers. I'm not sure if that is true or not.

Is it reasonable that some bureaucrats in the United States, or bureaucrats of any other government, have the right to not only surveil but also approve or deny the transfer of money between any two humans on planet Earth?

If you read the article it's right here: https://etherscan.io/address/0xf7790914Dc335B20Aa19D7c9C9171... Looks like they have minted 10M tokens. No transfers have occurred yet.

Society supports everyone in that way, so why should someone who is 100x more productive have to pay proportionally more than the average person? To put it another way, how does society provison more support for John Carmack than it does fo

To me, "FedCoin" implies or suggests an electronic bearer instrument that is issued by the Federal Reserve. It wouldn't be mined, it would be minted and burned (aka created and destroyed). The USD is not currently offered in

It would actually be better if FTX got turned back on, balances changed to whatever % can be made available and debt tokens issued for the rest. Aside from the fraud the FTX system was very good, it's a shame for it to be wasted.

How much stuff do you have? If you are thinking of using software to inventory then maybe you should just get rid of things. I use lots of stackable transparent plastic boxes. Group all the common fungible items together in their own boxes

This is an honest answer. Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt. I don't want to live in the same society as you, or be a part of one where people who share your opinion are the majority who get to make the rules.
