I'm really curious how they handle paging if they're only using memcached. E.G. If a a photo node has 10,000 comment nodes (and thus 10,000 edges linking the photo to the comments), chances are you only want to display the most re

I agree that an open source developer can object to donations on a personal level and I think it's a very reasonable request to personally unsubscribe from communications from some entity. What I don't agree with is complaining th

I think another (real) windows zero day will be announced soon. I received an email from Rackspace giving advanced notice that they will be patching all Windows servers to fix a 0day. I'm not sure why they'd take such measures for

WoW uses TCP the last time I checked (the overhead of TCP is acceptable for an RPG in most cases). I believe Diablo 3 also uses TCP and uses protobuf. EVE online have some very good tech posts and are generally quite open about their techno

Have had this problem too with making a racing game. We ended up making remote entities move independently of the physics engine (I.E. cars for remote players were just static objects that had their positions manually updated). This worked

I think it would work to just make the inside lane unrestricted and only have speed limits on the outer lanes. That way, slow and fast drivers aren't endangering each other because they're in completely separate streams of traffic

I couldn't imagine using standalone vim as an IDE either... However, if you want the best of both worlds then Visual Studio has a vim emulation plugin (VsVim) and Sublime has vim emulation mode too!
