We switched to OpenTelemetry agent from DataDog agent. Out of all commercial providers, Datadog is the worst one to show traces properly. Although it captures mostly the same traces, all of them have io.opentelemetry.something on UI making

PartiQL on DynamoDB is just syntactic sugar. DynamoDB is not meant to be used that way, but it's query and insert language can be a bit tricky, PartiQL just a helper for that weird query syntax, you can't do joins or aggregates. P

Sadly, React. Was using Angular 1, and Vue made much more sense. I'm not a Frontend Developer though, but needed to learn React but it happened to late. At least, when I needed to learn, components were not classes anymore but function

All of these are minor features. Mac just works and apps look gorgeous. I love my Arch, but even the simplest Linux distro requires more work than a mac. Even getting an equivalent font rendering is hard. Even the most Linux compatible Dell
