Perhaps, but I'd imagine that semantically, "by default" negates that since this is clearly not a default situation.

Disclaimer: I have a ProtonMail account that I pay for. I have seen a ton of disturbing pieces about ProtonMail. Every time I've looked into them, they seem to be maliciously motivated and usually not true, or otherwise twisting of the

I'm sure it was informed trial and error. Unfortunately, things in biology tend to fail silently and without log entries.

A bit of a tangent, but why do people insist on posting these things to twitter? They are so annoying to read like that. What does twitter offer that other platforms, designed for this type of content, don't?

I could not disagree more with this take. >Within science, many ideas are "controversial" because they're demonstrably wrong. Such ideas should not be "published" in a "journal" in some misguided attemp

Hopefully this gets resolved in the future. If I had something particularly controversial to contribute in my field, I would happily.

I'd guess it raises the odds. You don't want them used to people. Especially not associating people with the presence of food.

I have bounced around between different lab notebooks, obviously starting with paper. I then moved to a word doc. Problem with word documents is that they don't have any good hierarchy. I then tried Obsidian, which is a markdown editor

I'm not sure I agree with the parent that they shouldn't be policing content, but it's undeniable that doing so exacerbates echo chambers.

With the latest expansion, you can spend favors to do it. As Bohemia, I managed to get my heir on the thrones of 4 other countries.

I thought I read a couple days ago that they were ~a month away from taking Kabul? Yet this article is saying they already have taken it.

The latest update to EU IV (or expansion, I'm not sure which actually has it) lets you spend influence to place an heir from your dynasty on a foreign throne.

My understanding is that there isnt a whole lot of established anything re: the 3rd amendment. So...maybe, we can dream? I think warantless search is a much stronger argument, though.

I hopped around distros, starting with Ubuntu/Kubuntu, and then I switched to Manjaro (my first rolling release) because I was sick of ppas for newer software. Manjaro broke frequently, however. Finally found my home on openSUSE Tumble

Funkwhale is great from a UI standpoint. Adding music, however, was a chore. I ended up going with the Subsonic server built into Nextcloud, because it's just drag and drop. Nextcloud also has Ampache built in.
