This whole thing definitely looks highly anecdotal, rather rare, and basically 100% certain to be a bug. No way is Apple quietly forcing Sonoma upgrades on purpose; this wasn't intentional. Apple Support's responses to some affect

Please cite support for your claim that effects of surpassing these boundaries are linear. The people who actually know the science in these areas do not agree with you. Specifically with regard to global warming, the science has been clear

It's not anticompetitive because you're misunderstanding what Apple Messages fundamentally is. It's not just a protocol. It's a very expensive service platform that Apple runs as a service to its users. Apple is simply n

The way to go: basil. You never have too much basil! And if you somehow manage to, a couple nice batches of pesto can use up basically any quantity of basil, the pesto can be frozen and keeps forever, and it's radically better than sto

Point of order: normal hybrids are not overcomplicated and they're a very mature technology that works great.

That simply doesn't matter. Tumblr just needs to succeed in ANY slice of the market it can find. A small slice would do nicely. The best bet would be the slice it originally appealed to, with its original kinds of content, in the origi

Tumblr did fine before app stores ever existed, and could do perfectly well without them now as well. Web is enough.

If it were renewable, you wouldn't need to "find" a "pocket" of it. That's not what renewable means.

It's totally understandable that you don't get it; I didn't either, until I finally bought one. First of all it's the amazing consistency of the rice you get. Second, it's so forgiving. Too much water? Not enough? M

We finally sprung for a Zojirushi a couple years ago. Not the crazy $1100 model, just one of their midrange ones that normal people buy. It's awesome. Set it and forget it. Absolutely perfect rice every time: sushi rice, brown rice, ba

Sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy to me. Toyota has always leaned into hybrids and away from full-electric models. They just aren't very good at competing in the full-electric market. So it makes sense for them to issue a self-ser

You need to be more careful about how you use "normal". And "natural", for that matter. All of the intersex and trans stuff has been around and has been "normal" for millennia.

This sounds like a feature, not a bug. To the extent that is the case, all of those thousands of ISP lawyers would now become incentivized to reduce the complexity of the bullshit fee structures you're talking about.

No. In fact, given the dishonest behavior of ISPs, the FCC should go even further, and require all ISPs to list the full sticker price of any offered services, and ONLY the full price, in all advertising. They shouldn't even be allowed

This isn't about anything political; it's not about Fox News. It's a local FOX affiliate, or at most, a few local FOX affiliates. Has nothing to do with Fox News. FOX affiliates aren't really political at all.

Except this isn't happening with phones now. Apple offers affordable battery replacement options without any idiot regulators forcing them to compromise their designs to add a "feature" most users don't need or want.

2026 Android doesn't even exist yet. To me this is a ludicrous and premature claim. They can claim this AFTER 2026 gets here and their device still runs whatever Android looks like in 2026. And runs it well, with acceptable performance
