I agree; this is not normal at all! After all, that's why Apple Watch was invented! ;)

Aaaaand apparently, many also lack even the most basic level of clue about how many gaping holes there are in that net and how many people fall through that net.

I'm the older brother of identical twins. I can tell you that they can be both startlingly similar and startlingly divergent. For several years during their childhood, I was the only one in the family (2 adults 5 kids) who could reliab

The bad-faith narratives about Al Gore's personal life were hilariously wrong and offensive and irrelevant 25-30 years ago. I guess some people still haven't caught on. Al Gore was right about, well, basically everything he said o

I started using Braun electric razors about 34 years ago. This turns out to have been a good choice. They are lasting around 16 years each, on average. I recently had to get a new one; only the 3rd one I have had to buy in all that time. No

> Unfortunately, the rep insisted that all telcos would follow suit, and there would be no phones used without 5G compatibility soon. This has approximately zero chance of being true. For instance, all iPhones before iPhone 12 lacked 5G.

Could we not have hyperbolic, bad-faith posts like this from people who clearly have no clue about SF and seem to have never even visited? Your comment on the feces issue is a ludicrous distortion, and your lack of thoughtfulness on the ver

They aren't "forced out of the market". That's just made-up. And the animus against standard OS upgrades is not particularly convincing, to me at least. The value of Intel Macs is holding up just fine. I can go sell my 2

Or, instead of just giving up on modern life and modern technology, we could express the appropriate level of outrage, and vow to make this kind of conduct a felony, and then vow to jail the people selling this data for 25 years or whenever

This is not even close to correct. The vast majority of plastics can't even be truly recycled once. Not back into their original form, anyway. Saying Macs become "e-trash in a couple years" is similarly way way off the mark.

So who did you choose as a reliable news source going forward, then, instead? I think you need to be mindful that NYT got duped just like Powell did. It doesn't magically mean they are all bad journalists. It doesn't. You can fant

Can we stop this silliness. Computers do not become obsolete due to them being difficult to repair. They become obsolete because they become obsolete. Let's not just throw whatever we can find on the "right"-to-repair heap in

Calling this "disastrous" goes beyond hyperbole into a realm of parody, so I can only assume you're kidding. A lot of the iOS 7 changes were positive, and those which were missteps were far from "disastrous" and hav

I can only quote Steve in response to this silliness: ”Most people make the mistake of thinking design is what it looks like. People think it's this veneer — that the designers are handed this box and told, 'Make it look good!

I think the best response to your claim that "most people" find Cage uninteresting is this book intro that e. e. cummings wrote. He had a few things to say about "mostpeople": https://www.americanpoems.com
