In this context that's exactly what it means. I have no idea what you are talking about, but this article is about the pound not being backed and the peg being forced to break. That doesn't happen unless there is some sort of di

Ogre has been around for a while and not only were people less aware of pointer chasing issues, they weren't as much of an issue relative to the full speed of the cpu.

Ogre is a great little 3D engine. It is small and elegant with some tools surrounding it to make it work. One big downside though is that it is/was made in an 'object oriented' style where everything is a pointer to a virtu

No one is running around and destroying healthy financial entities. Rotting posts will break eventually, a little effort can just change the timing.

Tldr - 'programmers aren't included in the costs'. I don't know if that is true, but that's the answer to the clickbait.

What do you mean 'thus your question'? That's the first question everyone has, why would you ask it in an irrelevant chain of replies to someone who wasn't commenting on it in the first place?

That's not the issue with regards to the parent comment. The parent said he couldn't believe someone could kill themselves in a bare cell meant to stop people from suicide, but that's not where he was.
