90% seems good with poor fit. That's a far cry from people saying its pointless to use N95 masks outside of a hospital setting.

Projects like this should be "hacked" and the data released into the wild. It's insane that we so willingly lock up vast amounts of culture and media behind copyright law which hasn't even been around in its current form

This looks interesting. Is stylus-support (iOS and Android) planned? Free-form marking and writing notes directly on an ebook (in whatever format) would be awesome.

Yeah, it's a bit scary. What I'm not sure about is how much the remdesivir helped with the recovery (and how) or if he would have recovered anyway.

It's worth reading the case history in its entirety, which describes in detail the progression of the illness in the patient and steps taken by the hospital. This is the first time I've seen a detailed account and AFAIK there have

How close are we to making drones that can take on a modern fighter? We still need planes that are capable of establishing air superiority.

One could argue that thinning the population of the older demographic with pre-existing (and expensive) conditions could be a net benefit to governments with socialized healthcare. See Taiwan which has repeatedly had to refund their system
