I use teddit and have generally refused to use reddit ever since they made the mobile experience unusable with the constant "Please download our shitty app" screens. https://teddit.net/

I feel like this is an objectively good thing. On Android, there are many times I signed up for something just to try it out only to decide it wasn't for me and have no way to delete my account. Currently the only thing you can do is j

This just sounds like some weird hipsterism. While Linux has plenty of programming tools, there are plenty of other industries that are underserved by Linux and I don't see how putting out commercial programs for those people will &quo

I think this a pedantic take on the headline. The intent behind the entire article is that privacy is a privilege for those who can afford it.

Robinhood's value is all UI and UX. Every other finance app is in the past. Vanguard, Etrade, even ThinkOrSwim; none of them even come close to how easy Robinhood is to use. I also left Robinhood after the GME thing but man their app i

This is diverging from what the thread is about but what has been made in Zig that is worth talking about? Zig has no killer app so to speak. For Rust that was Servo. Rust has gone far beyond Servo and Mozilla at this point but Servo was th

This is my guess: 1. AMD is having major supply issues and is not allocating their supply towards laptops. Laptops are just not a huge priority for them right now when all of the consoles, desktop CPUs, and GPUs are flying off the shelves.

Frankly if I was a billionaire and had the means to setup my own charity that I had complete visibility into so I knew exactly where every penny was spent I would do that over giving it to another foundation.
