Let me get some popcorn. Any ideas of what will happen next? How far are we until some home users with outdated ISPs be blocked from the internet?

Mentioning the google redirect is a point I haven't seen yet and extremely valid. "Anonymous click data", as Bing said, can't account for what was seen. But I think the author focused too much in the "9%" part. Who knows what Google did wit

Some time ago I took a few steps to remove all unnecessary clutter: - replace all desktop icons and docks with Launchy - remove all system taskbar icons - activate the GMail labs "unread counter on favicon" - trim down the browser to its ba

This is not the first time I see someone using "tl;dr" as "wall of text incoming". Think of it as "this is what you'll say when you see what's below this mark."

I don't know if it's possible, but why not make the text itself be editable instead of opening a text field side by side? It's kinda hard to see how your edits will turn out because you have to look away from where you are editing and the t

Monitoring the clicks and parsing the data should be enough to account for the results we see.

It may be a different medium, but I was impressed with the technobabble in Mass Effect. It actually made sense. Every single detail, from astrobiology to weapon systems and shields, had a plausible explanation if you cared enough to visit t

Why the hell didn't he hire people to find tickets for him? If you are worried about people doing this without you, just make an app to calculate the values. Make the calculations server side, and only after checking if the phone is registe

I think that "arbitrarily small" is not enough, especially if you are running a business for decades. Try convincing your boss that the chance of all tickets be winners (which would bring the business down) is "small enough".

Maybe I'm missing something, but what if I want to work as a software engineer? Spending the rest of life as a bartender or receptionist doesn't seem like a good prospect, regardless of pay. And if I ever have the chance to go back to wor

Three important questions remain unanswered: 1) How expensive is the equipment to produce this synthetic gasoline? 2) How pollutant is the process? 3) What is the energy yield compared to the oil-based gasoline?

I'm currently a college student. The university I attend is completely free and is one of the best available. What about people who don't pass the entrance exam? They go to private colleges, paying a value between 0.7 and 2 times the minimu
