Truth be told I didn't like living there, but I think that's mostly because I was working for a pretty strange startup at the time. Very expensive for New Mexico, and expensive in general. Getting around can take some getting use

Might be the city I'm currently living in: Albuquerque, NM. It's very inexpensive, and sits at the foothills of the Sandia Mountains and Petroglyph National Park. It's almost always sunny, yet is rarely too hot for outdoor a

Some of the flak this guy is getting in his comments is pretty ridiculous. He's the one getting stiffed by Google, but "gamers" always love playing the victim, especially when a game developer draws a line of any kind.

Reminds me of a neighborhood in Chicago called Pullman. Originally, it was a company town, founded by George Pullman of the Pullman Palace Car Company. On the one hand, it was allegedly quite gorgeous and housing there had many amenities c

I'm way more upset with Youtube than I am with the scammers. Things like this will go on indefinitely so long as the controversy around fake animal rescues isn't big enough to upset advertisers. I would even go as far as to wager

I don't know, I don't think we give network/cable TV enough credit. I'm pretty intrigued by stories of how certain shows flopped in their first season (or two) but managed to persevere through some persistent TV exec who

Hope this takes. I've recently gotten into biking and have opted to go car-free. I really enjoy it, but I've started to encounter more incidents, all in broad daylight no-less.

Not sure how widely held this view is, but for me the main appeal to bootstrapping is that I don't have to wait until the company is acquired or until I IPO to feel like I've "made it". I would feel like I've made i
