By his logic all the games and animations originally built in Flash should be lost to the sands of time now that Flash support has ended and Flash content is blocked within the Flash player. But that didn't happen. Ports were made over to WebGL and emulators were built to make it possible to continue to play these games and animations outside of a browser. People thought they were so important that they made efforts to preserve them. They were anything but ignoreable. I think JS is quite fine by comparison.
