Well, I'd like my ISP to get their nose out of my traffic and stop sniffing like a coke addict. One of Net Neutrality arguments is that you sell me speed (and bandwidth where data caps apply, but shouldn't) and I can do whatever I

It's easier and cheaper to produce more cars. Boats are irrelevant since they're not a necessity, a house is, a car is in certain cities.houses being already scarce, and hoarding them makes it worse, because it makes them even les

Exactly, and I honestly wish there were measures to fine owners that have empty homes as well. Many people would disagree with me, but to me it's not about economics. We need a way to fight the idea of hoarding homes, a basic human rig

Then that would give them a reason to investigate. They cannot ask you what you're pleading the 5th for, but they can go investigate it, and nail you when and if they find proof of illegal activity.

Yeah I wish it didn't use SMS. But using an authenticator app can be slow and defeats the purpose of this. I am not a security expert, but from a UX point of view is it perhaps better if the user had to install a stripe mobile app, and

The agent can be faked. There are CORS rules, but those are enforced by the browser, a backend cannot prevent you from calling it, except by requiring an access token or something similar.

I use Tutanota as my email provider. They're horrible with spam management, and that's because they encrypt data and can't see what I am sending/receiving. So I am almost done with a chrome extension that helps me manage

Why do you keep repeating the 10% if you admittedly don't know how much the union dues are? The average ANNUAL union dues are $400, or 2 hours of pay per month. [1] 1. https://anh.com/the-cost-of-unions/#:~:text=Th

I never dismissed anyone's hardship. Read the first line of my comment again. The intention of pointing that out was in response to a specific comment. Context matters. I want police violence to stop. Period. I want them to be held acc

I believe Duncan Lemp should have received the media attention he deserves. That being said: 1- You said "This kind of violence affects everyone" and this is disingenuous when we look at the ratio of black vs white being murdered

"crazy" people wouldn't be prevented from boarding, I'd argue that even high people shouldn't be stopped as we cannot predict the behavior of a high person, and we cannot let TSA evaluate craziness.

I own the Pixel 4a 5G, it's a solid phone but it's 2 generations old. In comparison, the new iPhone SE is in a league of its own, at least for now.

It makes me sad to see that his fan base turned into a cult for the most part. I used to admire him until the veil fell off, I still admire the technologies him and the smart people at Tesla and SpaceX have created, but my admiration doesn&
