Yeah, I wish this project had a React component backend. D3.js and Observable Plot don't work that well with modern reactive frontend frameworks either though. They don't diff the SVG tree. The recommended way to react to some dat

It generalizes the notion of vectors as a continuum between scalars (0-dimensional) and volumes (n-dimensional where you chose the dimension of your space as n) For example in a 3D space: * 0D: scalars * 1D: regular vectors, representing a

Also Vietnam vets and LSD-fueled hippies exist in the same set, and each can have effects that go in different directions. On top of that, merging their effects (in policy setting for example) sort of is a barrier to attributing causality.

I'll add that causal relationships should be multi-dimensional: the Vietnam vet and LSD-fueled hippy having their own truth can be modeled as subgroups that add arrows in their dimensions to the graph.

I see no more than Groups in your comment. Which are very useful! Also having commutative operations makes for Abelian Groups, which enable operations to be reordered, and makes for implicit parallelism. Where is Category Theory?

Great presentation! Is there an initiative at DYALOG to do an XLA [1] backend for APL? One can't help but notice the XLA API and APL share a great deal of functionality; after all it's about processing arrays: XlaBuilder::Io
