Yes, thin plastic bags are very bad for typical processing machines. They take them at grocery stores so they can be a different stream. Although I have my doubts that much recycling is actually done with them there too. Putting things in r

The most valuable stuff in a landfill is probably aluminum, and based on some 2018 US numbers [1] estimated 1.8% of the mass of the landfill. Would need to dig through ~55.5 tonnes in an ideal scenario to get a tonne. Assuming you can sort

Prince William did the same with Glass. But also only takes 1 and 2 plastic now. My understanding was that there isn't any facility that can economically handle the glass anywhere in the region. So it just wasn't affordable to do

Plenty of flights in the US are BYOD already. You connect to the WiFi and have access to a website (on a laptop) or it's in their app on mobile. And it has video on demand served locally from the plane. It's airline edits with wat

Thanks for the tip about Zooz, they do look nearly identical may have to pick up a few for additional switches. I have had no need for any additional documentation for all of the GE / Enbrighten switches I have installed in my house. O

It is awesome to be able to do things isolated client side and not have to deal with permissions and resources for something like a training website. Which is all stuff you would have to deal with for a hosted version. And there are plenty

I know there is bias in who enters data on levels, but is there something else that makes it garbage data? Can you elaborate? Because I have never seen it as 'garbage data' and would like to know more.

If something bugged me enough I really wanted to provide feedback, I don't think I have ever not found a way to send it. There is normally some way to do it but definitely can be tricky. GitHub issues, feedback forms, or even just the

What is the market share of Chrome users who use ad blocking though? I don't know if its large enough to make a dent in the overall market share. And even then not sure everyone who has one installed would jump. I have it in my mom

Yeah, definitely thinking about doing something similar. Was wondering about something like Zero Tier as well. I just don't use my phone all that much away from home, so it hasn't been up on the priority list.
