Yeah, a split keyboard and traveling back and forth is not so fun. When I was in the office full time it just stayed there, since 95% of my typing was done there. Now I am home the vast majority of the time, and it stays home. I just have a

Layering can be great. I have arrow keys on a layer under my right hand, which I constantly use. I have mostly forgotten what the rest of my layers do at this point because I never really needed them. My keyboard has a lot more keys than th

I love having a split keyboard. It feels far more ergonomic than a single piece keyboard. Just relax your arms and put each half where your hands are. No having to bring your hands together and angle your wrists to get your hands in positio

I did actually mean build time. I figured there could be optimizations within the build process which allows some specific style of code to build faster because it has to check things. Perhaps around memory safety, which could be a big deal

It definitely feels a little odd. If everyone is an author, then does authorship really matter? Is authorship broken out in any way? I would think it could be useful to do something like credits on a movie. Here are the writers, the directo

This study is specifically about hyper prolific authors who have their name on 72 or more publications in a single year. Which they filtered down to a few hundred, and then a chunk of those were associated with large cohort studies. So the

I would be interested in doing some sort of hybrid mirror / cache of a few repos, if I could do them just in time style. I don't need all of pypi (nor do I want 13.5TB of packages). I probably only ever use a few hundred packages

The primary reason I see for encryption is because all of the disks are shared. Encrypting at rest is to make sure that the next user of the disk is not able to find any of your data. Even if the odds are low, you still don't want any
