Wow, I was wondering how they got Tarkin so wrong, while Leia was pretty darn good. The lighting is what made the difference. The shine that was on Tarkin, which didn't work in those dark scenes, worked perfectly fine in the super brig

Totally agree. It was definitely the only bad part of the movie. Everything else about it was excellent, including the other effects. He was too smooth and too shiny. It took me out of the movie every time he showed up on the screen. The vo

Ah yeah, I was wondering why they only had Digg. Figured it would be nice to do the same thing for other sites and compare as well. Seemed odd to not do a comparison since each site will have their own demographics.

I would be interested in seeing the same thing done for here. I know I saw a website that had the top stories from HN for each day a while back. Just trying to remember what it was, then can scrape it and do the same thing.

Not quite. Buses have fixed static routes. I described dynamic routes optimized to minimize delays for all users, while being picked up and dropped off at the exact address they want to be at, rather than some static bus stop.

How often do people really care about the comparison? If its an electronic get it from Best Buy, if its clothes Target or Walmart depending on personal preference. There is not a whole lot of overlap in those stores, and if there is they ar

Valid point, car pooling would definitely be a good thing. And I think people would be more willing if it was more efficient than it is. Uber Pool does not seem to match people very well. Scheduled rides could probably be very optimized, so

I have to ask, and if you have solid answers I think you can compete: Why would someone choose you over just going to BestBuy.com and buying the product for in store pickup? And why would they choose you when prime now is (I believe) availa

Pool also appears to be the default option now, so I on a recent trip accidentally got a pool a couple times. I didn't know the first time, and forgot the second. Second time was also a 'pool' with no additional riders, so it

Of those 73 million, how many of them are serving the file themselves, vs pointing to it hosted by someone else? I know you can just point to google directly for their fonts, or unpkg.com for js packages. Is that something people also do fo

Thats a good question. I would be curious what they really felt the odds were at that point in time. There definitely had to be uncertainty, but he was willing to take those risks, and I think that makes him all the braver.

Yeah, I agree. Might have been willing to go through all that hassle. IF they had warned ahead of time the restrictions it might have been acceptable. I would pick another location, like the dining room or something, instead of having to &#

OK, so then I guess my question for amzn-throw is, how does removing it from the 'intern loops' help when this wasn't an intern interview?

You can block those with an ad blocker, or at your router / firewall if you are really concerned with them. I know that is not something for a normal person, but neither is this search fogging, so seems like there might be better ways

Does this really make sense to do? Unless you form all your google searches as questions, it will be easy to separate real from ELI5. None of my history looks anything like that, so would be completely easy to tell the difference. Although

So was this an interview for an Intern position? Is this ProtorU thing used for anything else? Should anyone be worried about an interview for a full time non intern position? There seems to be some confusion about this in the comments.

Are there no backups out there that could be shared? Isn't that something TPB did, create a torrent of all the torrents and metadata about them? Then at least all that information would not be lost.

I cannot recommend scikit-learn enough to anyone interested in machine learning who likes python. I have been working with it for part of my Thesis, and it can do so much, with so little code. It is amazing.
