Nginx ingress controller + cert-manager is the most common, best documented way of doing this. If you don't have a domain already pointing to your public IP, you can use nip.io.

Try k9s[1], the xray view (:xray [ressource]) shows you nested resources as a tree. I find it very useful (and k9s in general is a fantastic administration tool). [1]: https://k9scli.io

On one hand I'd like to say I don't want to become a Windows admin to extract expected behaviour from a laptop, on the other that's exactly how I learned Linux administration.

I'm the same age and being a late bloomer professionally I had some anxiety as well. In the end I mostly benefitted from not being treated as a junior, even if my CV is clearly light in the field.

Road networks just match the most efficient paths of the era they were built in. The economic map changed a lot in the feudal era and most Roman roads (some of which high maintenance) were simply abandoned.

I've never been to an American style date in my life, nor do I do know anyone who does it. At least in France it far out of regular habits. The place for getting to know each other is usually a friends group.

$20k problably includes the cost of digging tranches and lay new cables. Here in France it's tops a few thousand euros if you want 36kVA, but that doesn't include civil engineering.

Poland was a post-Communist rust bucket a short time ago. It's easier to grow and leapfrog when you're starting low. Britain, France and Germany have a lot of inertia.

I've not seen a single tech layoff around me. In fact it's quite the opposite, there's very high demand in IT. Of course that might be tunnel vision, but I don't feel Europe's tech workers are particularily worried.
