Guess it depends on the business? I work at a Java shop and everyone uses IntelliJ. A few people use VSCode for UI stuff but most also just use IntelliJ.

I think OpenAPI is a better choice for this kinda stuff. The API docs are the source code and less lock-in that way. Devs can still use the tools they want.

I'm not too familiar with mobile app dev but why is the app 254 MB? I just compiled a 3rd-party Android Reddit app with a different oauth client_id and the apk was 18 MB. What are they packing in there?!

Could they realistically do this? Aren't user-modded niche subs a big thing? If all that's left is a handful of subreddits curated by reddit themselves is the site even the same? Why would anyone want to visit at that point?
