And it's still overpriced. For being a bunch of soy or whatever, I'd expect it to cost a fraction of meat. I'd rather have fewer real burgers than transition to faux food.

Okay? And when I loaded it just now, I see "Should I get married", Steven Crowler shenanigans, some self-defense videos, etc. I haven't been there just once.

Targeted ads and analytics are not opt-in by default. This leads to shadow profiles and my data being handled by corporations I don't trust. I don't need facebook and all its stalkers to know where I live, for instance. Not to men

For me, it was a Kurdish soldier on the ground getting shot in the head with a AK from point blank. There were no bits and fragments flying around, his skull just broke apart and his head flattened uncannily like a squished rubber toy and h

True. Too many people protest police actions and recommend "shooting the legs" and such. That's just one example that is readily disproved with a few liveleak videos of police shootouts, yet takes paragraphs to describe in te

Democracy is doing just fine. Anyone can vote, fool or laureate. That's democracy, and nothing more.

So your idea of democracy is "only these people should rule you, whether you vote or not."?

These are steady, predictable, iterative improvements. We have nothing groundbreaking like 1970s-1990s. Of course I'm not saying modern hardware is slow, but it's not progressing like it used to.

Wish normal people witnessed how few innovations are being introduced on the CPU/GPU side in the 21st century. The high-performance software industry is low-key carrying the hardware architecture industry on its back. Shaders, pipeline
