I don't think you understood the point of the article - it was targeted at library maintainers, not all users. Types often end up a part of the documentation, and internal typing is often needed in libraries to keep track of model stat

Whiteboard coding doesn't necessarily have to involve guessing the algorithm - any whiteboard questions I've asked avoided doing so. On the flip side, my experience with take home projects is that they are much more of a hazing&#x

There is a rule for divisibility by 7 - take the last digit, double it, and subtract from the rest of the numbers. If that is divisible by 7, the original number is too. For example, 91 gives 9 - 2 * 1 = 7, so it is divisible by 7

That's cheating though - also it likely is faster to do it mentally than typing all that out for the brightest.

Better to squash before the rebase so you resolve conflicts once rather than x times...and hope there are no nasty merge commits to ruin the history.

To be pedantic, that is not quite composition - I've made this exact mistake before too. Composition is where you have a function f o g (o being the traditional mathematical notation for composition), where (f o g)(a) = b satisfies g(f

I can tell you from experience that making a robust Ionic 1 app with Cordova that is performant is difficult. Cordova is not good at all. We did not have chump change for developers either - I've numerous contributions to Angular and I

Sometimes cleaning up code has positive business ramifications - for example, I took the time to design a component carefully in the past few weeks for work, and when it came to start a new user story for a nearly identical feature for anot

I'm not seeing a great hiring market right now for engineers in the Bay Area, at least as a high demand JS engineer. I took a look at testing the waters within the past month, I found the offers/opportunities a little wanting, and

Quit using [insert service] for a period of time. When you no longer feel a need to use it, then it is safe to use it. This has been the best cure for addictions for me in the past, but YMMV.

In my experience, I like IRC (been using it for ~10 years), but sometimes there is a lot of noise. For example, the Angular.js IRC channel devolved into a flood of bad questions with not enough information to help, and some entitled users.

FWIW, Angular 2 will ultimately be a lot smaller than React - the Angular team seems to believe they can get the core library (similar to React in pure components, but allowing the user to access the AST itself for more flexibility for cust
