Well, I commented mainly because of this > There's One Way™ to do things correctly. Using anti-pattern "hacks" will work for a little bit, but in the long run come back to bite you as your software grows and scales. This i

Huh? This sounds like it's more true of Angular than React - there is a widely adopted style guide, and well-known anti-patterns are very established. I don't get that impression with React.

Can verify - I turned down an opportunity for lead frontend work a year ago for $350k-400k (a lot of compensation in stock/bonuses, so it was variable), and that wasn't even at a big tech company. (For the curious, I opted for tre

Having the necessary skills does not mean they cannot make an attempt though. If they regress into whining instead of trying, then I'm less sympathetic & less likely to put my best effort forward since it's unnecessary stress.

All depends on if you use any third party Angular 1 libraries. If you do, it can be trickier, as one will have to rewrite the functionality in Angular 2. For example, my current company screwed itself by using a fork of UI Grid, and thus pr

Both Angular and React rely on an AST - React uses jsdom, while Angular has a template compiler which constructs an AST from the template, and the renderer then can render from the AST as it determines. Angular can render templates with the
