There are a lot of people who like communicating through image memes & other short soundbites - I am not one of them. I value text. I like reading deeper insights from people much more than cheap flyby memes or time consuming videos. If communication regresses like that, I'll probably withdraw from using those features. It's simply what I don't want in a social network.
