open source effort would be rather spent on UI/UX over CGAL or Libfive. The project is a dead end because they choose to reimplement inverse CSG instead of reusing years of R&D or any FRep library

well LFP is the old school way of lithium, it is dirt cheap and you can order it very cheap. also much more reliable, tolerant etc. only thing is low energy density. Quality depends on moisture level at fabrication process.
