Any chance of a open source implementation of this? I could really use a better tts for Linux.

Immutable data structures tend to use a lot of pointers see how Haskell executes, even in other paradigms halving pointer s can have a significant impact on alignment (tags, enums, etc). V8 sandboxes WASM by placing them in a dedicated OS p

Why prefer 64bit pointers over multiple memory address spaces ( https://github.com/WebAssembly/multi-memory )? Your CPU has to do a lot of work to keep pretending it's memory is flat, If we give up that pretense yo

This is fantastic. I would love to see vscode, coc, kde, gnome and other applications that use node extensions, to adopt Deno.

If it makes you feel any better, I'd bet you all 3 UFOs still use call stacks. Even aliens are stuck on 8086 esque CPUs ;)

If you have a GC HAMTs are ideal for a lock free transactional semantics. In fact all pure data structures can be generalized to give lock free optimistic transactions with a single CAS. HAMTs just have the nicest properties for minimizing

Any turning complete language can only uphold the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis at the level of types, kinds or higher. By definition at the term level you can express any cognitive categories. The weak hypothesis applies, since languages encourag

Unless you require your programs to be formally verified or use dependent linear types, the best you can do is an effect system, STM and GC. There is no panacea.

Switched to Firefox nightly and preview recently; it's great once you enable webrender and mess with a few other about:config options. Lockwise on Android is the only issue, it doesn't always suggest my saved passwords.
